I have to say, it got a little boring, to me, now and then for maybe three pages at a time but then again that's life right? Overall, this story was so unlike many others, it was just... perfect! The main character wasn't boring, which is one of the things I appreciate while reading a book. I mean, understand that NO ONE wants to read a book written from the point of view from a boring person, or rather someone with figuratively (or literally, if that's even possible) no emotion. It may not be the happiest story ever, I'll give you that much, but that's the reason it's under CONTEMPORARY! Anyway, that's beside the point. I loved the way you never knew what to expect in Macy's job at Wish. Something always, except for that one time, went wrong. And then there was the boring job, the one with the ugly stares, the unwelcoming view.... You know, now that I think about it I think this is the very first book in which I just love most of the characters. Sarah Dessen truly made each and every character come to life. But the best part of it, the part I loved the most was the ending. I am so glad I took the time to read this book! I can't even finish explaining how glad I am. It was like BOOM! Great book! If you asked me for a book recommendation, without doubt 'The Truth About Forever' would be the first thing I'd tell you to read.
